Sea birds are omnipresent in the Galapagos using many islands as a nesting area. Some species are endemic and only encountered in this archipelago. Even a penguin can be found there, the most northern place in the world where those birds more associated with cold waters can be observed. Another interesting specie is the flightless cormorant, only one in the world.
