Isla Jambeli is a small island in the south of Ecuador close to Machala. To the west it has an open sand beach towards the ocean and the east side and interior is partially covered by mangroves, which unfortunately under attack by shrimp farming. It offers therefore a varied habitat for birds and many can be observed there.
