These species of airplants or epiphytes of the drier regions are the most advanced bromeliads and belong mostly to the Tillandsia. They are able to absorb water and food, like dust particles through their leaves and therefore can even survive on power lines. The pictures were taken throughout the country, where dry conditions prevail.
