These butterflies were
photographed in the third week
of
September of 2005 in and around the Cabañas Lodge, which lies on the
River Napo near San Pedro, 2 hours downstream from Puerto Misahualli.
Most were taken sitting on the ground or on the flowers
surrounding the lodge buildings, beimg near edge of the primary rainforest.
