Sometimes unexpected things happen. I just had to stop once
along
a paved road to relieve myself and doing so, spotted a
beautiful butterfly. Getting my camera and walking then
along the ditch overgrownwith grasses and
other flowering plants, I discovered many more of those
creatures within 100m and took all those photographs within 45 minutes. This was near La
Concordia, a medium sized town on
the coastal plains
surrounded by African palm plantations.
The time was at the end of October 2002 in this tropical region
turned completely into agricultural land located at an
altitude of 300 m.
