Pañacocha is a region of lagoons and small rivers in the Amazon
region, some five hours by boat east of Coca and north of the mighty Napo.
Those tropical butterflies, living in and around
the rainforest
and lagoons were taken during 3 days in early November
of 2002
on walks in the forest, around our tent camp and navigating
the waters.
