Flies are
fast flying insects with only one pair of membranpus wings.
With over 80 000 species found on all continents
including Antartic,
they represent the fourth largest animal order.
In Ecuador they are very plentiful and can be found in all
ecosystems from the
high
Andean regions to the lower tropical ones.
