Those pictures were taken in April of 2002 in the Guandera Reserve, which is one of the last Inter-Andean high mountain cloudforests left. It lies between 3200m and 3500m and boasts of many amazing plants, like orchids and bromeliads and even tropical tree families like the Clusias. It is also one of last refuge for high mountain toucans and parrots.
